How does MyMusicTaste work?
Fans gather on MyMusicTaste to voice out where they want to see their favorite artists. MyMusicTaste uses this data to estimate the demand by artist and location to organize successful events.
How do I get my favorite artist to perform in my city?

I don't see my city. What can I do?
If there is a major city within commuting distance, please make your campaign there. If you would like to request your city, please contact us here. We selectively add cities based on population size and proximity to other cities already on MyMusicTaste.
I can't find my artist! What can I do?
If you cannot find the artist you are looking for, please contact us here.
What is a MAKE?
A MAKE is a request for that campaign to happen.
If I request artists, will they definitely come to my city?
Not necessarily. We cannot guarantee the artist will come because of numerous external factors such as the artist's schedule, management negotiations, and more. We are always working hard to bring your favorite artists to you, so please be patient with us!
What do all these terms like "TasteMaker" and "MAKE" mean?

I have never signed up, but it says my phone number is already associated with another account. What can I do?
We need to look up and verify your phone number and the account it is associated with. To best help you with this problem, contact us here.
Why does MyMusicTaste ask for my contact information (email & phone number)?
Providing us with your contact information allows us to give you exciting campaign & event updates. It is also an important way to keep your account safe. Since only you have access to both your phone number and email, we can help you find your account if you ever lose it.
Why is it so important that I set my city?
One of the variables that determine how many Make Points are given is calculated based on the TasteMaker's location and the city of the campaigns they make. We have seen TasteMakers asking for help from different cities, countries, and even different continents, in hopes of increasing Make Points. A complex algorithm is applied to shield against these kinds of fraudulent MAKES. We hope you understand that we need reliable and accurate data to deliver successful events. We urge all our TasteMakers to be honest and MAKE in cities they will likely attend. Please note, location is not the only factor in determining the Make Point weight of your MAKE.

You can set your city in account settings.
Why is my account disabled?
Your account has been disabled because it was detected of abusive behavior. Unfortunately, you will not be able to reclaim your account nor create a new one with the registered phone number. Please understand that these precautionary measures are taken to ensure a fair system for all TasteMakers. We are always exploring ways to encourage the right kind of behavior that could someday progress into an actual event!
How do I join a campaign on MyMusicTaste?
Search by artist and city to find campaigns. Hit the MAKE button to become a TasteMaker for that campaign. All TasteMakers receive updates as the campaign progress and special benefits when the event happens!
What are Make Points and how are they calculated?
Make Points are awarded to the campaign rather than to the specific individual. It serves as an indicator of the campaign movement generated by TasteMakers.
MyMusicTaste has a complex Make Point algorithm that weighs distinctive variables such as:
user's location and the city of the campaign
user's MAKE history
the requested artist's potential venue capacity and concert history
the infrastructure capability of the requested city
and many more.
What are Diamonds and what do the rankings on the leaderboard mean?
Diamonds determine your rank in the campaign. Top 10 TasteMakers with the most Diamonds make the leaderboard and get access to exclusive prizes that make the concert experience extra-special!
How can I improve my ranking?
Improve your ranking by collecting more Diamonds! You can get 15 Diamonds for sending your first Message to Artist and 50 Diamonds for inviting others who can attend the event. Invitees must MAKE through your link for Diamonds to be credited to your account. Diamonds will not be given when abusive behavior is detected.
What is the difference between Make Points and Diamonds?
Diamonds belong to the individual TasteMaker while Make Points signify the collective progress of the campaign. Diamonds do not affect Make Points.
PAYMENT AND REFUNDS
What types of payment methods can I use?
The following payment methods are acceptable on MyMusicTaste. VISA, Mastercard, American Express, PayPal, and KakaoPay. For additional inquiries regarding these payment methods, please contact us here.
What is KakaoPay?
KakaoPay is a newly available payment method which allows users to make purchases in KRW on MyMusicTaste. Should you have any questions regarding KakaoPay, please address all inquiries directly to the KakaoPay Customer Service Center for further assistance.
Can I use KakaoPay to purchase a product in a different currency (USD or EUR) besides KRW?
divactions in KRW cannot be made via VISA, Mastercard, American Express, and PayPal, and no other payment method besides KakaoPay can support transactions in KRW on MyMusicTaste for the time being.
Should you wish to proceed with a different payment method other than KakaoPay
Please return to the first page of the desired project to reselect the payment currency from KRW to USD or EUR.
However, should you select your payment currency to USD or EUR, the only possible payment methods will be VISA, Mastercard, American Express, and PayPal.
I am not a South Korean citizen nor based in South Korea, but wish to make a purchase using KakaoPay.
If you have successfully registered for the KakaoPay service through your personal KakaoTalk account, you will be authorized to use this payment method. Should you have any questions regarding KakaoPay, please address all inquiries directly to the KakaoPay Customer Service Center for further assistance.
What is a Redeem Code?
The Redeem Code will be issued from a different source other than MyMusicTaste, which users will be able to utilize in exchange for a product from a MyMusicTaste project.
The specified product will be listed on your purchase history.
All Redeem Codes issued can only be used once, hence it is highly recommended to use with caution.
All Redeem Code submissions are final, and cannot be divferred or sold to a third party.

Why is there an error processing my purchase?
Should you encounter a system error during your purchase attempt, please try again after double checking and ensuring that all details of the card being used have been correctly inputted. If the error persists, please contact your respective bank or the payment solution provider's customer service center regarding this matter.
How many tickets can I purchase?
The maximum number of tickets you can purchase varies by event. Check announcements for concert details!
How do I purchase my ticket?
Depending on the venue, you will be able to purchase your tickets through MyMusicTaste or a 3rd party ticketing site. Once your campaign becomes an event, MyMusicTaste will release ticketing information and notify you via your verified email and SMS with instructions on how to purchase your tickets.
How do I receive my tickets?
Ticket vendor varies by event. Check announcements for ticket details! Tickets purchased through our site will be sent to your email. You can access these tickets in "My Tickets."
