Hwang Min Hyun and Kim So Hyun will be teaming up for a new drama titled Useless Lies(literal title).

PLEDIS entertainment shared on November 28th that Hwang Min Hyun will be starring as Kim Do Ha in the upcoming show.

The mystery romance drama follows a woman who doesn’t believe in others due to her ability of hearing lies getting involved with a murder suspect whom no one believes is innocent.

Hwang Min Hyun will play Kim Do Ha, the successful yet mysterious music composer-and-producer. After being framed as a murder suspect in the past, he has hidden his identity and lived a solitary life. One day, he falls in love with a woman living next door named Mok Sol Hee who seems to have the talent of seeing through everything and seeks to venture out into the world again.

Kim So Hyun will star as Mok Sol Hee who has a special talent of hearing lies. However, she considers her given ability as a curse rather than supernatural powers. In order to make her powers worthy, she transforms into a “liar hunter” who listens to other people’s lies.

The new drama will premiere next year.
