The upcoming JTBC series Death’s Game (literal title) is making headlines with its impressive lineup of actors making cameo appearances.

Death’s Game is a fantasy reincarnation drama based on a popular webtoon of the same name. The story follows Choi Yi Jae who repeats death and reincarnation after killing himself. Initially, Kang Ha Neul was at the top of the list of actors to play the main characters, but the actor refused the offer in the process of discussing the drama’s OTT release.

Later, the role went to Seo In Guk, with Park So Dam chosen to star opposite him. However, neither of them has confirmed their appearance in the show yet. Then yesterday, it was reported that Go Youn Jung, who recently rose to stardom thanks to Alchemy of Souls 2, is also in talks to join the cast.

Since Death’s Game deals with Yi Jae’s reincarnations, expectations are high on the many characters that he’ll be reborn as and the actors who’ll play them.

On the 2nd, reports continued that Jang Seung Jo, Choi Si Won, Lee Jae Wook, and Sung Hoon are considering making a cameo appearance as Seo In Guk’s various reincarnations in the drama. Naturally, interest in the drama and its stellar cast are rising through the roof.

Meanwhile, Death’s Game comes from 18 Again director Ha Byung Hoon, who’ll both pen and helm the series. The filming will begin soon, and the show will be released via JTBC and TVING in the second half of this year.
